" A MINISTERIAL STATEMENT. LONDON, January 26. In the House of Commons Mr H. J. Tennant. in replying to a question, s'aid that no British soldier had been shot in the United Kingdom for a military offence. It was not in the public interest to state the number who had been shot in the forces overseas, but the number was inconsiderable.
