TEE VALUE OF DIPPING THE LAMBS. 4 . "Dipping properly carried out repays its cost many times over." So wrote the Chief of the Live Stock Division of the Department of Agriculture recently. This is especially so in the case of. lambs, where the advantages of good, breeding and a sufficiency of feed are often lost because of parasitic filth. Lambs cannot thrive when infested with tick. The aboro statement lias been amply proved by Mr R. Bevan, of Manakau, who, on the 19tli instant, wrote:— ' "I am more than pleased with the Quibell's Dip that you sent me. L dipped four hundred lambs, and » reckon it has put at least 2s per head on them. I inspected them carefully after dipping, and could not find one tick alive." Dipping the lambs in Quibell's NonPoisonous Liquid Dip pays the cost many times over. H-4211 KITCHEN HEROES. flow many men know what the women go through in a hot kitchen making jam? Why, it's all you can do to get them to remember to order the jani jars at Minson's when they get to town. 6
