WANTED.
LONDON, November 28. The Athens correspondent of the "Daily Chroniclo" says that tho Allies' now Noto asks Greeco to give a categorical assurance at the earliest po&siblo moment that she will iidhero to tho conditions laid down in the Note. Tho situation is regarded as grave. Router's Athens correspondent states that after receipt of the Note, M. Skouloudis conferred with Kins» Constantino, and tho Cabinet Council met later. The Allies 5 optimism has greatly weakened. The indications aro that Greece will proposo that the Entento ehall appoint military experts to discuss with the Greek General Staff the Allies' latest demands. ATHENS, November 28. The Allies' demands are for adequate railway facilities, the withdrawal of Greek troops from the vicinity of Salonica, and the policing of Greek territorial waters against AustroGerman submarines. Although there have been long discussions on the Note at successive Ministerial Councils and repeated conferences with the Headquarters Staff, M. Skouloudis has not reached a decision. The Government journals point out that the Noto contains certain points which it is difficult for Greece to accept. LONDON, November 28. The Athens correspondent of tho "Observer" interviewed a Cabinet Minister, who said that Greece would never commit the folly of disarming and interning tho Entente forces. The demands of the Entento, he said, were for elbow-room in Macedonia, to which Greece would accede, as an assurance had been given that the territory so occupied would be restored, and any damage caused indemnified.
