Captain Kendall, of the Kouri. came ashore at Lytt?lton on Satufday, and went North in tho evening. A 1 projected departure from Westport last night was the Kowbai with a load of coal for Lyttelton. Tho Andrew Weir cargo steamer Lord De-rby. 2737 tons, from Calcutta to South American ports, left Newcastle on Thursday laet for Wellington to taka 011 about 350 tons of bmnker coal. She is due there to-day. Discharge o; tlie Kauri's cargo of coal will probably bo completed to-morrow, and the vessel will then" return to Newcastle for further loadingHaving put out ihe local portion of her cargo from Lcndonj&tho Xew Zealand Shipping Company's liner Rimutaka loft last night for Dunedin.
