Harvest operations are now in full swing throughout this district, and many of tho crops are cutting much better than was anticipated a week or two ago.
The opening of the freezing works has resulted in several lines of lambs going forward, but the season appears rather later this year for fat lambs. However, a good fall of rain was ex'wrienced on Saiurda v and Sunday, and
this will have the effect of bringing on rape and other food, while the check to harvesting and shearing will not bo very serious, as the weather has again cleared.
