CITIZENS' DEFENCE CORPS.

The Christchurch Working Men's Club offered the Citizens' Corpo tho use of their miniatiiTo rifle range for two months. Last Monday evening 6_-mo 45 membera of No. 0 Unit, under Captain R. C. B:shop, accepted the invitation, and some good scoring waa made. Th-a Club's captain, P. Jack, had a good etaff to coach tho membera in tho handling- of the rifle. The highest scorers wore:—Ca,.)ta;'i_ IL C. Bishop 67, Ramsay C 7, F. Trent -6. The Club Imd eov-nal membera down to RedclifEs last Monday and Tuesday. Tho Addington Unit, under Captain W. Johnson, wail present last Thursday, come sixteen members shooting. Several showed very good- form, one getting 68. The Club baa made all members of the Corps present honorary members for one month.
