(By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright.) SYDNEY, July 10. At tho Liberal Conference, a motion in favour of making the Legislative Council elective was negatived. It was resolved that members of Parliament be debarred from increasing their salaries without consulting the country. In the Legislative Assembly, the debate on Mr Wade's amendment to tho Address-in-Reply was adjourned.
