THE AMENDING BILL
RECAST BY THE LORDS. (Received July 10th, 9.20 p.m.) LONDON, July 10. The House of Lords has completed the recasting of the Amending Bill. It adopted Lord Halsbury's amendments remoA'ing Unionists in Ulster and tho South and West of Ireland from the jurisdiction of tho Homo Rule judiciary, also Lord MacdonnelJ's proposal to withdraw tho Lands Purchase Act from the Irish Parliament's control, and Lord Kenmare's motion perpetuating Imperial control of tho Irish Constabulary. The report stage is expected to be reached on Monday, and the third reading stago on Tuesday.
