It.lnkstcr Lecocq, Hoskins, and GeAdes: secretary and ■treasurer Miss Farquharson. At tlie dance, Jackson's Band supplied the music, and items were contributed by Miss Ollv, Mr Fyfo, Miss Jouphin. Mr Blake, and Miss Miller. Mr -.tarrock accompanied the soloists... The supper arrangements and decorations reflected credit on the Ladies' Comrnittce—-Mes-dames OrbeU. Adan_._ Geddes, G. Manchester. Gorman, Searle. C. V>dson, and Hoskins. The. Mayor (Mr Black) presided at the social. Mr Pitcaifchly the speaker of the evening, after briefly recapitulating the. pointa of his- recent Navy Leatrue address, dealt with the future of the volunteer system.. .
