JOTTINGS FOR FARMERS. Two Border- which secured the two champion prizes at the Sydney Show were bred by Mr J. Nixon, of Killin_hy. A crop oi C_-to_>ato potatoes grown, on Mr G. W. Leadley's farm at Elgin yielded an average of I_*l tons per acre from a four-aero paddock.
