ADDITIONAL RESOLIJTIONS. j (press association- telf.gr.a_.) WELLINGTON, July 10. The Plunket Society Conference resolved t-o ask the Minister of Education ! to women inspectors in homes | where children were boarded out, State- ' trained at the Karitane Hospital, the ! Society to bear the expense. ; It was also resolved that the Central Council prepare uniform case . and note books, and that all reports from I branches of the Society be forwarded to | the nearest District Health Officer. DEPUTATION TO PRIME MINISTER. ; A large deputation from the Plunket Society Conference waited on the Prime Minister to-day. _ In reply. Mr Massey said the Government would endeavour to relieve Dr. Trubv King from his duties at Seacliff for a" portion of the year to enable him to devote more time to the work of the Plunket Society. He promised to consider the question of an increased grant to .the Karitane Hospital, Dunedin, when framing the Supplementary Estimates. The Hon. J. Allen said the women connected with. the movement were a great national asset to the Dominion. A man is judged by the company he keeps, and a good judge of Whisky oa_ be told by what he drinks. If he drinka "WHITE HORSE" Whisky, you can take it that he ia a connoisseur. The taste for old Whisky is increasing, -while that of young and cheap ia decreasing. It is quality that makes reputation, not quantity. 6
