TRAINING SYSTEM UPHELD.
("Times" and "Sydney Sun" Scrricea-J (Received July 9th, 8.35 p.m.) LONDON, July U. Speaking at a luncheon to visiting Australian Cadets at the Guildhall, Alderman Sir Charles Wakefield said the sooner universal cadet training was adopted in Great Britain, the better it would bo for national health, industrial wealth, and national efficiency. The "Daily Telegraph," commenting on the luncheon, says that oversea Governments are taking a larger view of their duties to the rising generation than the Motherland. Cadet training has raised unbounded enthusiasm in Australasia, while tho Motherland's waste of human life us the greatest tragedy of our time.
