There was a good attendance at the Rangiora markets yesterday. In the stock saleyards the entry was 1943 sheep, of which646were Fat; 58 cattle, and 150 pigs. Prices were:—Fac lambs, 15s to l<s (id; prime wethers, 22s lid to 24s 3d; lighter, 20s 6d to 21s 6d; fat ewes, 16s to 18s 6d. Store Sheep :J5 arid 8-tooth halfbred ewes, in lamb, 27s lid; failing-mouthed ewes, in lamb, 12s 6d to 17s; halfbred ewe hoggets. 19s; three-quarterbred ©we hoggete, 17*; lid; halfbred 4-tooth wethers, 20s sd; hoggets, mixed sexes, 15s 2d; culled hoggets, 11s , 7d. Cattle: Fat steers, £6 10s to £8 10a j fat heifers, £6 10s; fat cows, £7 10s to £9; springing heifers, £6 10s to £8 ss; dairy cows, t£7 to £10 2s 6d; store cowb, £4 15s. Pigs': .
