•The Liberals cheered Mr P. C. Webb Ho-night when he said that thero was no alliance between the Social DemoI crats and tho Liberal 'Party, but that he would have the greatest pleasure in voting the Reform Party out. But' immediately afterwards Mr Webb said that the moment that was done' ho (or some other Labour member in his place) would take an equal pleasure m voting the Liberals out. Hearty laughter from the Government/benches now greeted" tho discomfiture of ■ the chagrined Liberals. . •
