MR CHAMBERLAIN'S FUNERAL
BIRMINGHAM'S TRIBUTE. (By Ctbio.—Press Association.—Copyright.) LONDON, July 6. ' Birmingham "is manifesting profound sorrow at Mr Chamberlain's death. A Service in tho Unitarian Church was attended by leading people in tho Midlands. Tens of thousands of workers thronged tho streets, spending their dinner hour" in paying their last homage - whilo the coffin was being removed to Keyhill CemeteryOnly the family wero present at tho burial service. A memorial service held in St. Margaret's was attended by the Speaker of tho Houso, Mr Asquith, and members of Cabinot, Lord Stamfordhani (representing tho King), Mr Balfour and othor leading politicians, Sir George Reid, tho Hon. T. Mackenzie, and tho AgentsGeneral. On Mr Asquith's motion, the House of Commons adjourned as a token of tho debt it owed to Mr Chamberlain's lifo and example.
