NEW SOUTH WALES PARLIAMENT OPENED. (By Cable.—Press Association.-—Copyright.) (Received July 7th, 7.35 p.m.) SYD-NEY, July 7. The State Parliament; was opened today with tho usual ceremony. Tho Governor's Speech- coverod practically every department of legislation. Many reforms and a vigorous policy of public works wero promised. Mr Caon was elected Deputy-Leader of tho Parliamentary Labour Party, ■which post Las been vacant since Air Holraan eucccodod Mr McGowen as Leader.
