BOTH SIDES FIRM
' CABINET TO 3fEET TO-DAY.
(Received February 23rd. 12.10 a.m.) SYDNEY. February 22. • A meeting of tho Council representing the various food supply trades and others allied to the butchering business, lengthily considered the strike, but arrived at no definite decision, pending a Cabinet meeting on Monday to specially consider the position.
Both sides are firm, and are marking time.
It is possible that the Ministry will evolve some solution of the trouble at to-morrmv's meeting, tut it is considered that probably definite action will be deferred till Mr Holman's return on Tu"fday.
