Linwood A and Sydenham B tried conclusions at Lancaster Park. Tho former went in first; and made 63 (Chyo 13, Niven 17). Hayes took nine wickets for 27. Sydenham responded with 174 (Mehrtens 50. Mather 24, Clark 24, D. Crompton 17, Davis 15). Linwood went in and made 20 for the loss of one wicket. East Christchurch A and Linwood B. Tho latter went in first and made 69 (Gurnsey 19, Arnold 16, Shipman 15). East replied with 115 (Dollan 25. Besley 19, Collins 16, Morris 11, Murphy 12 not out). Linwood went in again and made TO for tho loss of five wickets (Bowker 19. Arnold 15, Shepherd 12). Playing against East Christcburch B, St. Albans A mado 79 (Doig 21, Martin 17. Jameson 10, Johnston 12), and 57 for one wicket, (Doig 40 not out, Jameson 16 not out). East B mado ICO, Inglis 45, Saunders 10 not out. Johnston (six wickets), for East, and Read and Inglis, for St. Albans, bowled best.

' Ricearton A commenced a match against Sydenham A at Sydenham today. Ricearton A batted first, and scored 40 (Morris 10. Hamilton 22 not out). Sydenham A scored 30 (Irvine; 11, Brooker 11). Ricearton A. in their second attempt, have scored 77 for six wickets (Hanna 17 not out, Brown 25 not out).

West Christchurch A, batting first against St. Albans B, made 54 (Lucas 12, Schmidt 25). McXae and Sandman took the wickets. St. Aihans made 23:) for nine wickets (A. Harrison 32. Sandman 33, McXne 16. SaviJle 18, C. Harrison not out 37, Holderness 46, Walker 12).

College made 304 against Boys' High School (Hindmarsh 128. Blunt 42, Rich 32. Grigg 24. Raphael 25, Marshall 26). School lost five wickets for 100 (West 24, Taylor 22, Johnson not out 20). Riccarton B totalled 317 against West Christchurch B (Haines 53. Jones 49, Escott 32. Caygill 28. Ballnntyne 49, Waddell not nvi 23). West Christchurch made 71 for six -wickets (Donaldson 29, Morton 20).
