THE REDCLIPFS CAMP
Tho "night and morning" camp in connexion with the Ist (Canterbury) Regiment, at Redcliffs, broke up on Saturday afternoon. It is stated that about sixty per cent, of tho total strength have attended the camp. About 30 per cent, of these have gono through the whole musketry course, and about 40 per cent, have more than half completed the course. A number of others have still got some practices to do.
On Saturday afternoon No. 6 Mounted Field Ambulance occupied the camp, and will remain under canvas (night and morning) for nine days, striking camp early on the morning of Monday, March 2nd. Lieutenant-Colonel Fenwick is in command, and thero will be about two dozen men undergoing instruction.
