PANAMA CANAL.
TO OPEN IN JUNE
NEW YORK, February 20.
President Wilson has announced that he expects the Panama Canal to be open to general traffic before the end of the year.
• (Received February 22nd, 5.5 p.m.) WASHINGTON, February 20. Colonel Gcethals has announced that the Panama Canal will be opened to merchant shipping on June Ist.
