PICTON REGATTA
(rUBSS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.)
BLENHEIM, January 1. The Picton Regatta was held to-day in heavy rain, but tho harbour was smooth as a millpond, consequently the racing was good, Results: —
Junior Single Sculls —A. Sharpe (Wanganui Union) 1, H. Mc'Kinley (Wo.lington) 2, R. Neill (Picton) 3. The only starters. Won easily. Maiden Fours—Wanganui Union 1, Kawatiri 2, Blenheim 3. Also started, Picton, Star (Wellington), and Wairau. Tho Picton crew rowed over in tho senior fours. -
Junior Fours—Petone 1, Wellington 2, Pic ton 3. Star and Blenheim also competed. Maiden Pairs—Star-1, Wairau 2, Petono 3, Wanganui Union and Kawatiri also started.
Junior Pairs —Picton 1, .Blenheim 2, Wellington 3. Pctone also competed.
Youths' Fours—Blenheim 1, Picton 2, Wairau 3.
Maiden Doub!o Sculls—Kawatiri 1, Pe'ono 2, Star 3. Wellington and Picton also started. Junior Double Senile—Wanganui Union 1, Wellington 2, Picton 3.
