MALVERN SUMMER SHOW.

Th« Malvern A. »_.d P. Association held * Summer Show m the Sheffield Domain yesterday. A large number of people from the adjacent districts attended, but '.he attendance was somewhat be.ow -expectations on account of the threatening weather. Fortunave.'y tho :ain kept oil, and towards afternoon tho weather brightened up a httle. The flower show was a decided attraction, and in spite of the heat and strong uor'-west winds experienced for several days, tho display was decidedly creditable to all concerned. 'i'he rose section was rather short of competitors, and the exhibit?, thcugh good, were lacking in variety. Sweety peas, however, made a brill.ant display, the delicate blossoms coming in for a large share of admiration. Mr Robert Nairn, wno judged tho flowers, considered tho exhibits were, undoubtedly good, and with keener competition the possibilities were far reselling. Without doubt one of the main features ou the Show was Mr Nairn's beautiful collection of r.ses, which was shown for exhibition only. The exhibit was tho centre admiring crowds throughout the day.
