OPERA HOUSE.
A splendid holiday programme was presented at tho Opera House last night to a house packed to the doors, many having to bo refused admission. The "Serenaiters gave a thoroughly onjovable programme and wero repeatedly encored. Other favourite artists included Mr Harry Linden, the Three Tit Bits. Miss Ida Berridge, Black and Bronte, aud the Three Harmonious Huxhauis. This evening the performance will be under the patronage of. and in the presence of the Mayor of South Melbourne (Mr TV. Baragawanath), the captain of the South Melbourne Cricket team (Mr Harry Trott). the -secretary (Mr W. >kiCormacki and the members of the (teaman the special invitation in the management.
