At the ordinary meeting of the Loyal Ashburton Lod_e of Oddfellows. M.r., Bro. W...1. Moore was :nstallc-d as Noble Grand (with Bros. E. Coker and J. B. Elliott as supporters), and ! Bro. T. J. Kenncdv as Vice Grand. It j wa.s decided that Past Grand Bro. A. ! Corbitt's name be placed on the mer!t i list. j The fortnightly meeting of the Loyal ! xticoarton Lodge of Oddfellows was j held on Thursday evening N.G.P.G. j Bro. J. W. Carlton presided i over a lar__c attendance. In i opening the lodge the N.G. thanked the members for attending in such i large numbers on such a wet night. ? Sick visitors reported two members on \ the sick fund. Sick pay was passed : for payment. Four new members were I initiated, and two proposed. L.M. ; Bro. G. CuMon _;ave the lecture, P.G. i Bro. G. Green and Bro. G. Bean acted i as conductors. i
