LONDON, July 12. In connection with t } lo Insurance Act, thc Government has been furnished with a report, showing that doctors' earnings at Darlington. Darwin, Dundee, Norwich and St. Albans avefag© 4s 2d per head of the population.
Already ten and a half million insurance cards have been issued, representing 70 per cent, of tho insurable subjects.
Tho Executive Committco of tho National Medical Union, ■at a meeting in Manchester unanimously passed a resolution that further negotiations with tho Government were useless, and should cease forthwith.
Mr Justice Joyce decided that the employment of Nonconformist ministers or probationers, by a conference or circuits, does not constitute employment within tho meaning of tho Act.
