POLITICAL REFORM LEAGUE,

AUCKLAND BRANCH

(press association telegram.) AUCKLAND, July 12. A largely attended meeting of the Auckland branch of the Political Reform League was held to-night, when general approval of the personnel of the new Cabinet was expressed. Congratulatory telegrams had already been sent to the Prime Minister (the Hon. W. F. Massey), whose replies thereto were received with enthusiasm. It was decided to write a, letter to Mr Massey congratulating him upon the dignified statesmanlike manner in which he and his colleagues had carried out the business since displacing tho late ment.

The fact that the Prime Minister would pay a private visit to his home at Mangere to-morrow was announced. It was arranged that on the occasion of his first official visit to Auckland steps should bo taken to give Mr Massey a suitable reception. Delegates will attend the Reform Conference in Wellington on August 3rd, representing the following branches of the League: —Waitemata, Auckland West, East and Central, Grey Lynn, Parnell, Manukau, Franklin Raglan, Waikato, Taumarunui, Marsden, Bay oflslands, and Kaipara.
