(SPECIAL TO " tue I'RESS-") WELLINQTON; July 12. Tho misunderstanding which arose in connection with sending a contingent of New Zealand Senior Cadets to Canada has been considered by the Hon. James Allen (Minister of and after consultation with tho Prime Mm- , ister, he has decided to recommend Cabinet to send the full contingent of twenty Cadets and an officer, the .»oiv Zealand Government paying the expenses of the six Cadets in excess of ?<k> number invited by tho Canadian Government.

It spoke of "a company of fourteen or possibly twenty Cadets " "It-was, not until a letter came on April 29th " said Mr Allen, "that wo realised that they wanted only twelve rank and file one lieutenant, and one captain. If the recommendation which the Minister is t<> make to Cabinet is adopted, tho contingent will nOw consist of twenty Cadets, and one adult officer (Captain J. G. Fullarton)."
