LODGE MEETINGS.
0 . The- Hone of ChriKtchurch Lodge, 1.0. G.T., held its usual Vision on Tuesday, Bro. H.-Ford, C.T., in the ihair. ' Tho evening was in charge of the Sisters, who carried out a discussion, on "The Training of a Husband," which caused much amusement. Items were contributed by Bros. Gunnell, Roberts, Sisters Mardon and May Sweney. A meeting of the Loyal Benevolent LodRC, 1.0.0. F., M.U., was held on Monday, N.G. Bro. W. D. Tcmpleton presiding over a large attendance of members and visitors. Three, members •wero declared on tho sick fund and two were declared off. A letter of condolence was forwarded to the relatives of the late Bro. Hollinsdale and a funeral claim was also granted. The was then opened for the entertaining of the Loyal City of Norwich, Loyal Volunteer and Loyal Perseverance Juvenile Lodges. . They I were attended by P.P.G.M. Bro. Brice, Bro. Henderson, Lyttelton District P.G. Bro. C. Millington; P.G. I Bro. "W. Fabian, N.G. Bro. Kirton, V.G. Bro. Wilson, Loyal Volunteer; Lodge, P.G. Bro. LeComte, Loyal ! Perseverenco Lodge, P.G. Bro. tor-! J wood, Loyal Jubilee Lodge, and Bros. j Reid and Blakeway Loyal St. Stephen's Lodge, Wiltshire, England. The pro- ' ceedings opened with a short speecn to ' tho boj's by the Grand Master, Bro. 1 AY. H. Phillips. P.P.G.M. Bro. Brice, ! i on behalf of the Lodge, presented P.G. ; I Bro. A. F W. Jas. Mitchell (District Grand President) in the chair ana 43 delegates were present. The Chairman announced that j a Charter raising the District Grand j j Lodge to the status ol" a Grand Lodge j ) had been granted by the Grand j ;of Australia.
