SYMPATHETIC MINERS.

Tbo representative of the Queensland strikers reports that, as the result of the mission to the South Coast district, the miners have promised to do everything possible to prevent coal from being shipped to Brisbane. The district Miners' Association has voted £200 to the strike fund. SHIPPING STILL HELD UP. Tho wharf-labourers aro still holding up Brisbane steamers, and those sailing on Saturday took no cargo. They also decline to discharge vessels arriving from northern ports. INDICATIONS ~QF THE STRIKE ENDING. MR COYNE STILL SANGUINE. BRISBANE, February 26. Mr Coyne denies the rumour that the Strike Committee decided to order all the strikers excepting the tramway employees to resume work on Tuesday. He declares that the miners and the wharf-labourers will remain out as long as they are required to. Notwithstanding this declaration, there are indications that the strike is ending. Work is proceeding on the wharves steadily. A 6teamer left on Saturday for the Gulf country, where supplies are running short, no steamer having visited there for five weeks. WHARF-LABOURERS AND MINERS. WILLING "TO RESUME. (Received February 26th, 11.10 p.m.) BRISBANE, February 26. It is reported that the wharflabourers aro negotiating with the shipping companies with a view to resumption. Tho Bundamba miners have decided to resume if the employers are agreeable.
