CANTERBURY COLLEGE, CHRISTCHURCH. LECTURES IN MUSIC. DR. BRADSHAW will commence the Course of Lectures in MUSIC on MONDAY, February 12th: The courae of instruction extends over three years, each consisting of throe terms. A Certificate of Proficiency is granted to j students who have passed tho examination j at the end of each year (Attendance at tho j first year'e lectures is not 'necessary for those students who already possess sufficient j knowledge of the subject to pToceod with the \ second year's work.) The whole series of lectures from Junior Class upwards nre arranged to meet the requirements of the annual examination conducted by Canterbury College, the Associated Board, of R.A.M. and R.C.M., Trinity College, London, and of the University oi Now Zealand Mus. Bac. Degree. Lectures are given in the following subjects :—Rudiments of Music, Harmony, Counterpoint, History of Music, Form in Music, E«r Training, Composition, and Orchestration. In addition to the daily classes, Lectures will now be given EVERY EVENING excepting Saturday. These will enable evening students also to cover the whole ground ot preparation for tho various examinations mentioned above.
