Mr Coyne claims that the strike in the North showed the solidarity of labour. The strike lenders are optimistic, and scout any idea of the strike collapsing, and predict a determined fight to the bitter end. At Townsvillo the shipping clerks are loading the steamer Taiyuan. The lumpers take no exception to thorn, but state that if free labour is employed there will be trouble. A DENIAL. IMPOSING A CONDITION. (Received February 10th, 12 a.m.) BRISBANE, February 9. The report that the Typographical Association voted in favour of the resumption of work v. denied. The members remain on strike. A number of the employees in the lithographic branch of the Government Printing Office have asked to be taken back., Their request has been granted, on condition that in future they recognise only one authority, their employers. Lightning shattered the flagpole ot the Tirades' Hall and damaged the roof.
