E.S.S.— Among the best books on political economy are Marshall's ''Economics of Industry," Hadley's "Economics," Walkers "Political Economy." and Nicholson's "Elements of Political Economy." A cheap short work is Hobson's "Science of Wealth" in tho Homo University Library. The best work on the political history of England is Longman's "Political History of England" in 12 volumes. This is the most complete work. Smaller works that can bo recommended - are Tout's' and Oman's histories.
