Siedeberg's health will prevent him playing in the Plunket I'-fhielcl match against Canterbury, and Torrance has written to the Otago Association notifying his inability to make the trip. The team will consequently consist of Downes (captain), Hopkins, Austin, Bannerman. Eamsdon, Oondliffe, McFarlano, Eckhold. Eckhoff, Kenny, and L. Watson. Siedeberg's inability to play is a • matter for rejrret. It will be the first time that he has stood do./n nftainst Canterbury since he first represented this province, a dozen years ago. His loss is a severe one as he was in fine form this Torrance having been out at Wailronrtiti practically all the senson. has had little T>ractico. Ramsden fills the breacE as bowlor.
