"Tho Times" says that the apporiranco of Mr Lloyd Georgo and Btr Edward Grey in full war-paint in tho suffragist camp should fort© Mr Asfjuith to take off his coat to combat a policy which ho regards as very disastrous. Thero is much newspaper and c\jtb criticism of the Premier's peculiar position. It is understood that Messrs Harcourt, McKonna, Hobhouso, and Samuel, Lord Loreburn, the Earl of Crowe and Mr Winston Churchill, aro ngainst female suffrage, whilo- Lorcl Haldane, Mr Burns, Mr Birrell, Mr Buxton, Mr Runciman, Lord Morley, and Sir J. A. Simon, arc in favour of it.
