All the smaller firms havo conceded the demands, but tho railway companies and larger firms havo refused to do so. Troops have been despatched to 3>undee. Mr Tom Mann protested to Lord Haldano that the presence of troops was calculated to incite disorder. Tho Strike Committee would guarantee order if they wore recalled.
