TROOPS SENT TO DUNDEE.
PROTEST FROM A LABOUR LEADER. (Received December 20th, 9.25 p.m.) LONDON, December 20. The Dundee carters demand a minimum wago of 23s weekly, and vhc dockers an advance of Id an hour. All the smaller firms havo conceded the demands, but tho railway companies and larger firms havo refused to do so. Troops have been despatched to 3>undee. Mr Tom Mann protested to Lord Haldano that the presence of troops was calculated to incite disorder. Tho Strike Committee would guarantee order if they wore recalled.
