LEESTOX. The attendance at the Lees ton stock sale on Friday was fair, and there was an average yarding of stock. Ike cattle entry was in_do up chiefly of superior heifers, and prices all round were very good. Fat sheep and lambs were in good demand, but store lines did not meet with much enquiry- The fat pig pens did not contain many animals that could be classed as "finished. ' and the demand for this class of stock was. if anything, a trifle weaker. Store pigs showed a slight improvement in values. The yarding of sheep numbered nearly 1000, chiefly lambs. Fat lambs mado lis 2d to lis lOd, stores os Od to 8s 3d for ordinary class, and up to 10s 4d for forward '--cs. Ewes were not represented by ai... lines of superior quality, tho best making 8s to 10s 3d, and stores from os Cd. Fat wethers made up to 14s 4d, and a lino of store wethers 10s 3d. Tho pig pens contained 131 fats and 77 stores. Choppers brought from 535. baconers 40s to _ls Gd, equal to 4d ncr lb, and porkers 2Cs Od to 36s Cd, eoual to about 4_d per lb. Largo stores brought 14s to 19s; smaller 7s 3d to 10s Gd; and weancrs from 2s Cd.

Good young dairy heifers realised £o os to £7 los; other heifers, £4 to £4 los; cows in tfilk im to £6 12s (3d; and old cows various prices according to quality. Three draught horses were sold at prices ranging from £17 to £26 10s.
