THE PRICE OF TIMBER.
(special to "tttk γ-resr.") INVERCARGILL. May 12. It is announced that the price of timber has been raised by one shilling per hundred feet. This rise lias been expected by consumers in Otaco and Southland for some time, it being; recognised that there has been a" considerable increase in the cost of production.
