He moved :--"Tb« t the Works Committee be asked to cansidcr the subject, and report to the! Council." This was agreed to 1 deputation from the Brass Band **&?• on tho Council and applied for sidy to enable them to purchase instruments and music. It was -Hurri mously resolved to give a contribution of -fclo.
