ATHLETICS.

LYTTELTON PIRATES' AMATEUR ATHLETIC CLUB. A meeting of the Lyttelton Pirates Amateur Athletic Club was held on Monday evening, Mr J. Reed in tiio chair, to consider the position ot the club. A statement of accounts showed the liabilities to be about £32, tho assets an amount of £25, realisable in fave half-yearly payments of £5, and several small amounts unspecified, and cash in hand £6 16s Bd. It was resolved that two persons should be appointed as liquidators, to realise the assets of the club, and to pay all .liabilities possible at their" discretion. Mr G. Rich, treasurer of the Canterbury Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association, and Mr J. Reed, wore appointed liquidators. It was resolved that the club's footballs should be given to the local schools, and the polo ball be offered to the St. Johns A.S.C. On tho motion of Mr J. Reed, seconded by Mr H. Ayers, it was unanimously resolved to disband the club.
