Letter mails close for the following places aa under, subject to the necessary alterations : — Mails per express to Dunedin and South close daily at 7 am. and 11.10 a.m.; late fee (i.e., letters bearing Id additional stamp). 11.25 a.m.; also mail van up to 3 a.m., and guard's van, 11.65 a.m. train. Booka and newspapers, 7 a.m. and 10.10 a.m. TUESDAY, DECEMBER 6. For Northern Porte and Weatport, pcs Maori, at 6.15 p.m.; late fee letters, 6.46 p.m.; guard's van, 7.40 p.m. train. WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 7. For Dunedin, per Tarawera, at 11.10 a.m.; lato fee letters, 11.25 a.m.; guard's van, 13.10 p.m. train. For Northern Porta and Westport, per Victoria, at 4.15 p.m.; late fee letters, 4.30 p.m.; guard's van, 5.25 p.m. train. Also, per Mararoa, at 6.15 p.m.; late fee letters, 6.45 p.m.; guard's van, 7.40 p.m. train. THURSDAY, DECEMBER 8. For Australian States, etc (duo Sydney December 13th), India, China, Ceylon, Hong Kong, Straits Settlements, South Africa, etc., also Continent of Europe and United Kingdom (due London, January 11th, 1911), via Naples, per Maori, to connect with Moeraki, at 6.15 p.m.; late fee letters, 6.45 p.m.; guard's van, 7.40 p.m. train; money orders, 4 p.m.; registered articles, 5 p.m.; book packets ana newspapers, 5.45 p.m. train. For Northern Ports and Westport, per Maori, at 6.15 p.m.; late fee letters, (U5 p.m.; guard's van, 7.40 p.m. train. Mails from the United Kingdom, etc., via Brindisi, which left London on October 26th, are due in Christcharch s« follows:—Letter portion December 6th, at 9 *.m., via Auckland; newspapers 6.30 p.m., via the Bluff. Mails for Tonga, Samoa, and Fiji, per Atua, closo at Auckland on December 6th, at 8.45 p.m. On end after Monday, December 12th, 1910, mails for the West Coast will close at the Christchurch Post Office on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays st 7.30 a.m., and tbe mails from the Coafet will arrive at Chrielr church on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, at 8.40 p.m.
Mails from the United States, Canada, etc, via San Francisco, arc due in Cbrietcnuroh on December 9th.
