THE SOUTH AFRICANS' TOUR.
United Press Association— By Electric Telegraph—CopyrightBRISBANE, December o The match between the bouth Africans and an Australian Eleven was concluded to-day. The weather was oppressive, but* tho attendance was good. . . The South Africans continued their innings on a good wicket. The scoring was slow at first and the first halthour produced only nine runs. After lunch the batsmen" ouickened thc pace, and at 3.30 p.m. the South Africans declared their innings closed. The Australians' bowling and fielding were excellent, and they batted splendidly in the second innings. Marshall gave a magnificent display, and his innings was chanceless. He easily played the bowlers and passed his century amid wild enthusiasm. Kortlang played delightful cricket. When time expired the Australians were 70 runs behind, and the match was drawn.
