Encounter 119: It the next meeting of the committee of the Canterbury Cricket Association the following motion, to be moved by Mr Caygill, will be discussed:— "That this committee invite the Otago Cricket Association to send a second representative eleven to Christchurch to ulav a Canterbury second eleven, on December 24th, 26th and 2/th, on the understanding that the Canterbury Association undertake to send a second representative eleven to Dunedin next .season."
