FULLER'S PICTURES
Though perhaps not having any particularly novel cv striking pictures such as has been the case on other occasions .it tho Colossaiim, the new programme c.i Fuller's Pictures given last night was a uniformly good and interesting one. The series illustrating the reception of the fugitive Dalai Lamn nt Durjccling was one which placed before tho audicrce an important event enacted amidst psculiar and etrnnge surroundings. Two splendid pictures of the Dalai L-.ma were noticeable as giving a fine representation of this remarkable religious character. "Jn Old. California," n very touching story was told with, sreat dramatic power, the acting being very good indeed, and •'The New Marshal of Gila Creek" was another series of considerable interest. In view of the recent funeral ceremonies of the late King at Windsor, the fine pictures of the historic castle were singularly appropriate. "The Punchestown Steeplechase. 1910 appealed strongly to the sporting proclivities of the audience, at there were some exciting episodes in the race. "For Her Brother's Sake" was a pathetic story well acted out. "The Newly Wocls" was one of the best comedy pictures sec . here for some time, being full of humorous situations admirably done. A -salutary lesson to thbso who fajl a victim to the fascination of playing bridge for high stakes was given in "Tlie Victim of Bridge," and "The Ladies' Train" was exceedingly funny. To-night the same bill will be repeated.
