Wade, State Premier, speaking at the annual conference of the Labour Reform Association, .said .that while a super, ficial view cf the result of the Federal elections might lead to the conclusion that they must be prepared for a wave of feeling in favour of the Opposition at the State elections, a careful examination of the returns led him to the conclusion that there was no justification for assuming that tho outlook of the Liberal Party, as far as State issues were concerned, was hopeless or even unfavourable. Speaking at Tarn worth, the Minister of Lands, in claiming success for the closer settlement movement, foreshadowed a wide extension of'tho system. ADELAIDE, May 26. When the Parliament meets next Thursday, Mr Vcrran will move a straight-out no-confidenco motion.
