WOMEN ON JURIES. VIEWS OF THE BISHOP OF LONDON. United Press Association—By Eloctrio Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, May 25. Mr Cecil Chapman, a magistrate, giving evidence. before the Divorco Commission, advocated that six women should serve on juries in divorce cases. Tho Bishop of London, presiding at the London Diocesan Conforenco, said that the Church must oppose tho extension to tho poor of facilities for divorce which had -proved a curse to the rich. ]f every Coupty Court ,was turned into a Divorco Court, it became a matter for discussion whether in time to com© the civil authority would not conduct all marriages, loaving tho blessings of the Church solely to those who accepted the Church's rule.
