WEATHER SUMMARY AND FORECAST.

The Rev. D. C. Bates's weather summary and forecast, issued at Wellington yesterday at 5 p.m., are as follows: —The barometer commenced to rise in tho South on Sunday morning, ond southerly winds prevailed by the evening, and rain fell in most parts of tho country; but especially in tho southernmost districts,. where tho weather has continued to bo unsettled. Present indications are for moderate to strong westerly winds generally, with cool and changeable weather. The barometer will probably rise slowly in the North, and fail in the Southern districts.
