The local matches were resumed on Saturday, the grounds being in good order. "The Albion-Christchurch game was the chief contest, and the superiority of the Blacks' rear division gave them their victory. A close contest between Old Boys and Linwood ended in the Whites' favour by fi to 8. Merivale were too good for Canterbury College, defeating the Maroons by 31 points to nil. Sydenbar. beat Marists after a poor exhibition by a try to nil. The gate takings amounted to £31 8s 9d.
