NOTES-AND MEMORANDA. : *>_— Anniversary services in connection with the Selwyn street Church will be held to-morrow. An Athletic and Maori Carnival will be held at Kaiapoi on June 3rd. A special train will leave Christchurch at 10.30 a.m. A lantern talk on ''The. work of the Bible" will take place at the V.M.C.A. Hall on Tuesday night. Bishop Julius will preside. The Darfield Ladies' Hockey Club Social has. been postponed until Wednesday, June Ist. A bazaar in aid of the North Canterbury Mounted Rifles uniform fund will bo held in the Rangiora Drill Hall on Tuesday and Wednesday next. A No-license meeting will be held in the Opawa Methodist Church on Monday night. The Foreign Mission anniversary services will be held to-morrow, in the High street Methodist Church. Dr. Henry, accompanied by Mr Potts, musical director, will open their evangelistic mission in "His Majesty's Theatre on Sunday afternoon next. EXPERIENCED TRAV r ELLERS.
