MAGISTRATE'S COURT.

Mr H. W. Bishop, S.M., presided at the Magistrate's Court yesterday. POLICE CASES. Two male and one female offenders for drunkenness were each fined os and cost*, in default twenty-four hours imprisonment. A fourth, a youth, who recently arrived from England, was convicted and discharged, as the SubInspector stated that the Salvation Army would look after him. Win. Henry Fisher, a second offender, was fined* 10s and costs, in default fortytight hours' imprisonment. John Puroell was remanded until to-morrow on a charge of stealing a quantity of lead, valued at 6s Gd, the property of John Harrow. Ernest Phillip BerLyn was remanded till May 27th on charges of theft of £.54 and £23 3s Id.
