Nyland jumped away well clear of Boanerges in a five furlong spin, and though the latter showed great dash Nyland finished in front in lmin lsec. Voca and Seawincl ran tho same distance in lmin 7sec, the former having something in hand. Overtime hid a Euroclydon colt in Hall's stables, as a companion over five furlong 3, run in lmin oscc, finishing abreast. Research ran a. mile in lmin 52soe, Continuance, Paisano, and Pearl Reef covering the same distance in lmin 53sec. The latter was in front on sufferance. Aorangi and Goldbird went a mile and a half over six hurdles, tho former shaping better than his companion, jumping quicker. A number of others did serviceable work. Kakama has been scratched for all engagements.
